Tour from the Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise) From AUD $2,563 per person

Itinerary: Day 1 : Gold Coast to Rainbow Beach

Head north to Rainbow Beach via Surfers Paradise. Continue on to Brisbane (where other passengers may join) then take a short break at the spectacular lookout at Wild Horse Mountain. Enjoy panoramic views of the Sunshine Coast overlooking Noosa and Mooloolaba, before arriving at Rainbow Beach; a vibrant young coastal town, with glistening coloured sands and a relaxed atmosphere. This evening relax in accommodation, located just 100 metres from the beach. (D)

Days 2-3 : Fraser Island Tour

Spend the next two days exploring Fraser Island on a ranger guided 4WD safari with Fraser Explorer, staying at Eurong Resort. You will drive along Seventy Five Mile Beach, visit Lake Wabby and Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek, the Maheno Wreck and climb Indian Head. Return to Rainbow Beach for an overnight stay. Day 4 : Rainbow Beach to Kroombit Cattle Station

There's an option today to feed wild dolphins at Tin Can Bay. You can take the bus or catch the ferry (ferry is your own expense). After dolphin feeding, head inland through cattle country to Kroombit Cattle Station. Here you experience genuine outback living with the chance to ride a mechanical bull and take a walk of the property. That night you will taste a traditional camp oven dinner, cooked in the open fire. (D)

Day 5 : Kroombit Cattle Station

A day jam-packed with wonderful activities all included in the price of your tour. Learn first-hand about Queensland farming life as you participate in a '˜muster' on horseback, try your skill at trapshooting and join in the fun of a mini-rodeo as animals are herded into the ring. In the evening enjoy another hearty camp-oven dinner and re-live your day's experiences around the campfire with a beer from the bush bar. (BLD)

Day 6 : Kroombit to Carnarvon Gorge

After breakfast, you will head further inland through Central Queensland's remote outback to the little known jewel of Carnarvon National Park. Carnarvon Gorge, central to this park is a remarkable natural attraction with 30kms of walking trails, 200 species of birds, ancient plants and Aboriginal rock-art dating back 3,500 years. This afternoon we will get a taste of the gorge with a short walk amongst the numerous kangaroos and wallabies that inhabit the area. Stay tonight in large permanent tents amongst the wilderness. Day 7 : Carnarvon Gorge

You will spend the full day hiking through the many walking trails scattered throughout this magnificent gorge. Walks are mostly of easy grade and therefore suitable for all ages and fitness levels, however the options are varied. You will see 500 year old cycads, grass trees and eucalypts, native wildlife and learn about the indigenous ancestors that inhabited this region for more than 3,500 years. See the best examples of rock-art in Queensland, made from the ochre taken from the region. After a day's exercise, you will return to our tented cabins for a good night's sleep within this wilderness region. (BLD)

Day 8 : Carnarvon Gorge to Airlie Beach

Start early for our big drive from Carnarvon Gorge to the Mackay region. This is the first time we've hit the coast in four days and we now follow the coast to arrive at the Airlie Beach. Tomorrow you'll be sailing in some of finest sailing waters in the world '" the Whitsunday Islands. (B)

Days 9-11 : Whitsunday Sailing

This morning your next adventure awaits Whitsunday sailing! You will have the opportunity to sun-bathe, snorkel and swim whilst exploring the idyllic Whitsunday Islands on a million dollar yacht. Visit the many beaches, coves and islands on this two night sailing trip, with the opportunity to hoist the sails and even take the wheel. Note that you will sleep on the boat, moored in quiet coves. Cabins are share only; no twin and doubles for these two nights. Back on land, we leave Airlie Beach and head to Townsville. From here we take the ferry to Magnetic Island, so named by Captain Cook because his compass went crazy when he sailed past in 1770. This evening, relax with a cold beer and watch the sunset from the beach bar of the only backpackers resort in Australia located right on the beach. (Day 11: D)

Day 12 : Magnetic Island to Cairns

After the short ferry trip back to the mainland, drive to the Johnstone River Crocodile Farm to learn more about the most feared animal in Northern Australia: the estuarine or saltwater crocodile. As we arrive into Cairns, you will be able to cherish the many great experiences of Australia's East Coast. (BLD)

You may see wild Eastern Grey Kangaroos in native bushlands at our first stop and you'll be amazed at their size! A two hour walk through changing vegetation takes you into Wentworth Falls. After lunch (included), we walk down the historic Furber Stairs (all 860 of them!) into Jamison Valley through lush World Heritage rainforest. You will see the beautiful Katoomba Falls and the iconic rock formations of the '˜Three Sisters'. Itinerary: Day 1: Hobart to Strahan

Travel to Mount Field National Park, where you can stretch your legs on the Russell Falls and Tall Trees walks. We continue on to Lake St Clair for a view of Australia's deepest lake. On our way to Strahan we hike and explore the Franklin Gordon National Park. We spend tonight in our own exclusive accommodation in the historic coastal township of Strahan where your guide will fill you in on the amazing history of '˜pining, mining and convicts'!. (LD)

Day 2: Strahan to Cradle Mountain Region

This morning we enjoy the intriguing history of Strahan with options to suit everyone! Take a stroll or a bike ride (free) along the foreshore or up the Water Tower Hill for a priceless lookout over Macquarie Harbour and Ocean Beach; walk through a rainforest to Hogarth Falls (if you're quiet and lucky you may even spot a platypus); Later, we take a walk through the Henty Sand Dunes, where you can even take a quad bike tour (at own expense). In the afternoon we visit the historic '˜Silver City' of Zeehan. We then continue to our overnight lodge accommodation. (BLD)

Day 3: Cradle Mountain to Devonport

Today we discover the World Heritage Cradle Mountain National Park. Enjoy the pure air with a guided walk around lovely Dove Lake, or challenge yourself with a more strenuous hike (unguided) to view Cradle Mountain. We spend this afternoon exploring more of the state's mid north before our arrival in Devonport. Itinerary: Day 1 : Melbourne to Great Ocean Road

We pass Geelong and check out the surfi ng town of Torquay and world famous Bells Beach. Our Great Ocean Road journey begins here as we wind our way along one of the most spectacular coastal roads in Australia. At Kennett River we spot for koalas and watch and listen to the abundant birdlife. Day 2 : Twelve Apostles to Grampians National Park

Get your legs working this morning with hikes at Hollow Mountain and the amazing MacKenzie Falls before we farewell The Grampians and travel via Horsham into South Australia. See rare White Western Grey Kangaroos at Bordertown, then cross the Murray River before arriving into Adelaide. Day 5 : Adelaide to Quorn

We travel through the Clare Valley arriving in Quorn in time for lunch. This afternoon we hike to the summit of Dutchman's Stern for stunning 360° views of Quorn, Spencer Gulf and the Flinders Ranges! Our home for the next two nights is private accommodation at the historical '˜Mill'. Get ready for tonight's BBQ dinner '" it doesn't get any more Aussie than this! (LD)

Day 6 : Flinders Ranges and Wilpena Pound

Wilpena Pound is a natural amphitheatre located in a huge stone crater and you will spend the morning hiking and exploring its wonder! After lunch, it's a short walk to Yourambulla Caves to view Aboriginal rock paintings then stop at the ruins of Kanyaka Homestead. At peaceful Warren Gorge, there's an opportunity to spot for the shy and elusive Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby. (BLD)

Day 7 : Quorn to Coober Pedy

It's time to go underground! We journey north through Port Augusta, Glendambo (population 30!) and visit ancient salt lakes which are the remnants of an inland sea. We show your around Coober Pedy on a town and mine tour... watch an opal cutting demonstration and try your luck '˜noodling' for opals! Our bunkhouse for tonight is '" you guessed it '" underground. Day 8 : Coober Pedy to Uluru

Driving through the rugged desert country, we reach Yulara in time for infamous Uluru (Ayers Rock) sunset. Tonight, lend a hand as we cook dinner at our permanent campsite then consider the option to sleep under the outback stars in a traditional '˜Aussie swag'. (BLD)

Day 9 : Uluru to Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon

Sunrise over Uluru is magical and it's an early start to catch it! While the morning's fresh (and your legs are too) take a walk around Uluru's base (unguided) followed by an interpretive walk led by your guide. After visiting Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) we head to Kings Canyon, where we camp for the night. (BLD)

Day 10 : Kings Canyon to Alice Springs

There's a lot to explore at Kings Canyon, including the Lost City, the lush and ancient Garden of Eden and the sheer outcrops of the North and South Walls. After lunch, relax and enjoy the harsh desert scenery as we travel to Alice Springs. (BL)

2 Day Kangaroo Island Safari From AUD $389 per person

Itinerary: Day 1 : Adelaide to Kangaroo Island

It's a scenic drive through the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis where we board the SeaLink ferry across Backstairs Passage (45 minute trip) to Penneshaw. It's not far to one of the Island's stunning surf beaches at Pennington Bay and then we visit the only commercial eucalyptus distillery in South Australia at Emu Ridge. Get amongst sea lions in their natural habitat on our guided walk at Seal Bay '" an experience you won't forget! Scramble up the white sand hills at Little Sahara and get up close to more wildlife (including koalas) at the Hanson Bay Koala Sanctuary. Our private accommodation is located on 200 hectares and 1.2km of coastline near Vivonne Bay and features extensive open woodland, wildlife and walking trails. (LD)

Day 2 : Kangaroo Island to Adelaide

We spend the morning in Flinders Chase National Park. Clamber on the huge granite outcrops of Remarkable Rocks and see the New Zealand fur seals who reside at Admiral's Arch. We'll have lunch at Rocky River Headquarters, where there's time to check out the Information Centre which is the start point for the Snake Lagoon and Platypus Walks (seasonal choice). After lunch, we travel to the North Coast, visiting Stokes Bay, where a rock tunnel leads to an idyllic and '˜secret' beach (seasonal). We then return to Penneshaw, with time to purchase dinner (own expense) before returning to the mainland and Adelaide. (BL) Note: Tour is operated on a code-share basis with KI Adventure Tours. We enter the Nambung National Park to explore the mysterious Pinnacles Desert and then discover some massive sand dunes. There's the opportunity to sand board down the slopes, before continuing on through Geraldton to our accommodation. (LD)

Day 2 : Horrocks to Shark Bay

It's a short drive to the Kalbarri National Park where we explore Murchison Gorge, Natures Window, the Loop and Z-Bend Gorge (it's a steep descent but worth the effort for a refreshing swim). There's also the option to abseil here (own expense). After lunch we visit beautiful Shell Beach as we travel towards Denham and Shark Bay. (BLD)

Day 3 : Shark Bay to Coral Bay

After a short drive across the Peron Peninsula we make our way down to the beach and the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins '" it's a unique experience with some fantastic photo opportunities. As we travel towards Carnarvon, we stop to view the fascinating Stromatolites at Hamelin Pool. After a break in our journey at Carnarvon we continue along the highway to Coral Bay, the Jewel of the North. (BLD)

Day 4 : Coral Bay to Exmouth

Today is yours to explore Coral Bay and the wonders of the Ningaloo Reef and its fantastic marine life. You can go snorkelling, cruise on the glass bottom boat, take a quad bike tour or even a joy flight over the reef (all at additional expense). Today is a day to relax. Late afternoon and its time for the short drive into Exmouth. (BLD)

Day 5 : Exmouth

Today we explore Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park, have a swim, snorkel or sunbathe at beautiful Turquoise Bay and admire the view from historic Vlahming Head Lighthouse. We return to our hostel late afternoon. (BL)

Day 6 : Exmouth to Karijini National Park

Heading inland through the vast cattle stations of the Pilbara region, our destination is the oasis of Karijini. This afternoon we drop in at Tom Price, a little town known for its iron ore mining, before reaching our camp overlooking the magnificent Hamersley Range. (LD)

Days 7-8 : Karijini National Park

Two full days of adventure is the perfect amount of time needed to explore Karijini National Park and its amazing gorges. Formed over 2,500 million years ago, the Hamersley Ranges are some of the most unusual landforms on earth. Deep in the gorges you'll come across cascading waterfalls and fresh, still waterholes '" perfect for swimming. Dales Gorge, Fortesque Falls, Fern Pool, Circular Pool, Weano Gorge and Hancock Gorge are just some of the stunning areas we'll get to. Definitely a highlight! (BLD)

Day 9 : Karijini National Park to Pardoo Station

We depart Karijini this morning and travel towards the coast and the iron ore port of Port Hedland. We have time for a quick town tour and marvel at the sheer size of the iron ore industry. After lunch we continue on towards Pardoo Station, where we spend our last night together. (BLD)

Day 10 : Pardoo Station to Broome

En-route to Broome we enjoy a leisurely break and take in the glory of the stretching sands of the 80 Mile Beach. Enjoy a stroll along the beach and get some fantastic photos, before our final leg into Broome. (BL) Note: This tour is operated as a code-share with WesternXposure. 3 Day South West, Albany & Margaret River From AUD $475 per person

Itinerary: Day 1 : Perth to Augusta

We leave early this morning travelling south to the historic Busselton Jetty and picturesque Geographe Bay. After lunch in the Yallingup area, we tour Ngilgi Cave and travel along Caves Road where we stop to sample some of the locally produced Margaret River Wines. We see the famous Prevelly Park surf break before arriving in Margaret River, with time to wander the art and craft galleries before the short journey to Augusta. (LD)

Day 2 : Augusta to Albany

After breakfast we make our way towards the Karri forests and the 75 metre high Bicentennial Tree (you have the opportunity to climb it!). Our next destination is the Valley of the Giants and the Tree Top Walk. Here we walk through the canopy of the ancient tingle forest, 40 metres above the forest floor. At William Bay National Park we view the large granite formations of Elephant Rocks and take a dip in the clear waters of Greens Pool. Travelling east via Denmark we finish the day at The Blow Holes, The Natural Bridge and awe inspiring The Gap before arriving at Albany. (BLD)

Day 3 : Albany to Perth

From the top of Mt Clarence we have spectacular views of King George Sound, the outer islands and Albany. At Middleton Beach we take a stroll along the heritage boardwalk and check out the beach. We begin our journey back to Perth with a stop to climb Castle Rock for stunning views of the Stirling Ranges, then travel through the wheat and sheep farming district. (BL)

Itinerary: Day 1 : Darwin to Mary River

A refreshing start to your day; the waterfalls of Litchfield National Park. Then we travel west into Woolna Country where we receive a Cul Cul or unique '˜Welcome to Country' by the traditional owners of the land, the Limilngan '" Wulna people. This is followed by lessons in bush tucker, didgeridoo playing, basket weaving and spear throwing. To finish the day we head to the spectacular Corroboree Billabong on Mary River Wetlands. Birds aren't the only wildlife abundant around here; keep a watch for lurking crocodiles on our private river cruise! A secluded campsite at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is where we'll stay tonight. Day 2 : Mary River to Kakadu

Discover ancient Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr, our first stop this morning. Clamber to the top of a rocky lookout for fabulous views over the Nardab floodplain. Next it's on to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), where a hike is rewarded with a reviving swim in the plunge pools. Tonight we stay at our permanent camp within Kakadu National Park. (BLD)

Day 3 : Kakadu National Park

Get ready for some 4WD action today on our way to Jim Jim Falls! Once we get there, we'll hike to the base of the falls before continuing on to Twin Falls. Feel the beauty of the stunning gorge and powerful falls from the National Park operated boat and boardwalk experience. We get to our campsite at Gunlom just in time to see the vibrant colours of the tropical sunset take over the evening sky. (BLD)

Day 4 : Kakadu to Katherine Gorge

Climb to the top of Gunlom Falls this morning and you'll be rewarded with stunning views from the top! Cool down with a refreshing dip at Edith Falls. Tonight we'll be camping at our permanent campsite near Katherine Gorge. (BLD)

Day 5 : Katherine Gorge to Darwin

Paddle or cruise (at own expense) through Katherine Gorge this morning. Want to see more? Jump aboard a helicopter flight (at own expense) which will take you high above the vast gorge system. There are more chances to get wet this afternoon! Chill out in the thermal waters of Katherine Hot Springs (seasonal) before we get you back to Darwin. (BL)
