Sharyn FUJIE
Senior Teacher (TESOL)
I began my teaching career as a Primary School teacher in New South Wales, Australia. However, as a result of travel experiences, and teaching in various positions, I developed a particular interest in Second Language Acquisition, and have since diversified and upgraded my qualifications, to a Master of Applied Linguistics.
I believe that learning a Second Language is a very difficult task, with many factors affecting the outcome. A supportive, dedicated teacher is one of the essential requirements for successful adult Second Language learning. At Brown’s, you will meet and study with professional, caring teachers, who will encourage you, and provide a framework for your learning.
I also believe that enjoyment is a critical factor in learning, for people of all ages. At Brown’s, we will encourage you to have fun and experiment, to totally immerse yourself in the language and the culture of this beautiful country, Australia.
I have traveled and worked outside of Australia for several years, and am now very happy to be welcoming students to this wonderful country. I truly love the Australian lifestyle and look forward to sharing it with you!
