Welcome to BROWNS, my name is Kirryn Desira, the School Administration Manager. I have come to BROWNS with 23 years secretarial experience in the legal, engineering and finance sectors. I have been working part time for the last few years after having two beautiful boys and have now returned to work full time.

I am originally from Newcastle and moved to the sunny Gold Coast 15 years ago after meeting my wonderful husband whilst travelling in the UK. My husband and I both enjoy the 'travel bug' and travelled throughout Europe and the Middle East for two years before returning to Australia where we both relocated to the Gold Coast. After 10 years on the Gold Coast we then ventured west and spent a couple of years in Perth, WA and have also been very fortunate to have travelled extensively throughout Asia and also enjoyed touring our magnificent country, Australia. There are many countries yet to be crossed off our list of destinations and we look forward to continuing experiences this wonderful world has on offer!

For me the highlight of travelling is being introduced to the many different cultures throughout the world, meeting the locals and of course tantalising the taste buds with all the fabulous food on offer!

Interests aside from travel include spending time with my fabulous family, camping, relaxing by the beach, movies, reading and in general just getting out and about and having fun with my family and friends.

I look forward to the opportunity to meet and greet students from all over the globe. The BROWNS team are very friendly and welcoming and I am sure you too will be made to feel part of the BROWNS family whilst studying here and you will have a memorable stay.
