Welcome to BROWNS, my name is Leeanne, I have been the registrar at BROWNS since 2006 after working for 14 years in the public service working for TAFE, 12 of them in the international student centre. I am very happy to be part of the BROWNS team, the positive attitude of the staff here and the care that is taken of all students has impressed me greatly. I work with the administration team and take care of enrolments. I have lived on the Gold Coast for 29 years coming originally from Tasmania, am married and have 5 daughters, 1 granddaughter and 2 grandsons and a much loved little dog. I have just recently completed my Diploma of General Business and Diploma of International Relations.

Working with international students is my passion, it’s great to meet so many new people every week from all over the world and it’s a pleasure and a privilege to watch students who arrive with very little confidence in their English work hard and leave the school feeling much more confident to speak English every day. I know you will enjoy your time studying at BROWNS, it’s a fun place to learn, I also hope you get the chance to enjoy the beautiful Gold Coast beaches and surrounding areas.
